Magnetic signs, decals, painted messages and wraps can all be employed to advertise on vehicles. How does one maximize their impact?

Advertising on vehicles which are often moving or at a distance must be easily seen and quickly comprehended.

To accomplish this, messages should be short, catchy and clear. Graphics should be uncluttered and pleasing to the eye. Text should employ a commonly used, non-script font. Bolder and bigger is better. Colors chosen should provide a high contrast between any text and the background. Easy readability is of the utmost importance.

The advertising should convey just a few basic facts: usually the name of the business, a few words explaining what the business does, a phone number and website. The shorter and more memorable the message, the better. More often than not, the advertising will be seen for only a few moments, before visibility is disrupted or attention is drawn elsewhere.
